These are some places near the apartment i was staying in Lower Manhattan. All the streets here are in Ave and Street numbers so we had to be really specific when we tell the cabbies the address (the yellow cabbies here are tough!)If you think S'pore and M'sia cabbies are reckless drivers then NYC cabbies are definitely F1 racers!

At Lower Manhattan, we had a basement place so in the morning i love to wear my PJs and just bring my coffee to sit on the bench placed right on the outside of our entrance to welcome the start of a new day. On a cooling and wet morning, i get passerby greeting me with "enjoy the rain!its nice isn't it". Nice...
You will also see pictures of me sitting at "The Bean" a cafe at the corner of the street i stayed but coffee at "The Bench" still the best.

73E 3rd Street. Boy i miss that place.. It has to be place i will want to stay if i go back again. Soho is right turn 2 streets down, Chinatown is straight up 3 streets and left turn 4 streets. The streets here are filled with cosy small sidewalk boutique restaurants and cafes.

ITs "D" DAY! The long awaited....
Looking back at the hard work and things i traded for, there were many times, I thought to myself especially during the harder times...will all this be worth it.. Now that doesn't matter anymore as the journey i experienced, that alone is worth everything..

It was also through these times, i faced doubts and questions on why i bother to waste time, effort and money from people who tried to give their kind opinions on my decision.... Okay this is going to sound EMO... You know how humans always appreciate things which they pay with their own $ more. So now although i only managed to get a degree but i am really F%&*#ing proud of myself and i am going to indulge myself in that feeling for at least 2 months hahaha.. It is through times like these you see clearly who are the close friends, friends who have truck loaded with faith in me and who have been supportive in every way they can and still are :) (You know who you people are) These bring a smile to my face every time i am face with a question that no longer requires an answer.

I was really excited about Spring in Oklahoma but didnt expect the Spring to be so cold. There were many stuff that i did, such as Art Fest, watching Baseball Game and many many more...I will be posting some pics of OKC that were taken. I have never seen Sky so beautiful...it looks like a portion from "The Simsons" Sky..
Alot of experiences left me speechless, i do not wish to put it into words and spoil my feelings for it. I will let the photos speak for themselves. Share my visual joy people!

I have always love Takashi Murakami's art. His ideas and the characters which he develops through inspirations of manga and anime are food for the souls of all Pop Art Lovers!
There is also Yoshitomo Nara with paintings of manga-esque(as they say it)children
and their facial expressions of defiance. I see a part of me in these expressions/reactions even till now .....:)

Japanese artists have a way of intriguing viewers with their out of the world perception often fill with eccentricity.

Once again i couldn't get myself addicted to facebook..... I think i must be a living dinosaur...
Even my older relatives cut grass and play games on facebook...Sigh.... and me i still find no joy in it...
I need to defend myself.....
SOmehow the real human touch still beats the electronic affair, at least to me. It is afterall an enjoyable experience of making the effort to meet up and be in constant contact with close friends isn't it..

I see many people having tons of "friends" on the book and i wonder do they even "know them"..hmmm... must be really tiring trying to keep in touch with so many "friends"., not to mention the characters people live out online ..
Oh well, maybe i should get myself addicted to the games before i see joy in logging in constantly.. wait a min.. i dont remember my password!!.....:P

Yes.. that was what happened to me, i was late and first thing i know i was pulled to the Galactica and followed by Cylon ( felt like i was in a washing machine) which left me screaming F%&#ing Hell!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh all he way~~~

THe experience was really a wet one for me, after the wet ride at J park, went straight to Shrek Castle, the cold 4D theatre to be wet again!

Hi how are you?….How was 2008 for you?
The year (2008) for me had been smooth sailing among the few rollercoaster years before. This happens to be the year which I cross over to join the 30s.
What surprises me? Is that people seemed to be remembering my birthday more than the rest of the years..... Nice sicko friends I have….
Is it true that in 30s, we will start to have lesser wants and turn our attentions more to needs and be more reactive, appreciative and attentive to what and who nourish us mentally and emotionally?
At least I know this will be one of my resolutions
for the New Year ahead.

Funny….., thinking back 2008, nothing big and significant happened that went up in fireworks but yet with all the small pieces of nice things that I experienced from family, relatives, friends, work,.etc.. etc.
It actually sort of open up my eyes to a clearer picture of what/who matters most to me are actually what I already have.
Although ironically I have them for the past 30years of my life, of course some join in between along the ride.
I must have been busy thinking and fantasying after what I want and do not have yet… so conveniently ignoring what I already have due to taking things for granted hhahaha. Yea at times I really sucks I know (Dare to say you are not like that at times!)
somethings you think that are gone are all along there and some you think are there, never really was.
But once you recognize them as being important, you start to worry and hope for the best for their well being. That will also make you ~the annoying one. Crazy human nature!

2oo8 also brought me a lot of contact with different kinds of people, yes I am more interactive with the human race this year….From The Great Ottotians , moving along some domineering cultured cannot have a mind of your own well paid MNC and then finally deciding on a growing multitasking SME with a friendly environment which i figured will suit me best. This is not the best time to change job as many will agree but I am fortunate that I found a job that could cater to my plans ahead in 2009. What a blessing! Actually i am very fortunate to be living in Singapore, a little more cushion than the rest of the world from all the bad tidings currently.

This year i wish for all of you and myself to focus on our resolutions more and try not stray too much away from it. But there will always be little surprises that changes our perspective and experiences and it is those little unknown creeps that will make it all the more exciting! Global Warming, Recessions, Wars, genuine smiles, home kitchen fights, fake friendliness
are all that makes us see things in a clearer light!
I wish everyone a wonderful, joyful new hope ahead~~

The Journey itself is an artwork~

Singapore Biennale WONDER ended today. Going through the exhibitions at the two different locations gave me two different experiences. I personally like the one at South Beach Development better as the works there gave a very raw feel.
Art exhibitions, a lot of it are supposed to create and invoke a certain feeling that the artist is trying to bring across. There will always be a write out to explain the artist’s intention before you enter to understand the works.

As I was exploring all the different rooms, I realize after some time, I will forget to read the explanations on the outside and just head straight into the room to soak in the artwork/installations and start to have my own perspective of the works.
Sometimes it relate close to what the artist is trying to bring across, other times totally different.

After the first level of the building, I decided to head straight into the individual exhibits first then follow by reading the explanation of the artwork.

This journey into the exhibition have become an art exhibit itself isn’t it?

I was so excited moving from room to room, discovering the different experiences. In fact for some artworks, i was so sure that the artist have the similar explanation the way my visual tells my mind, even before trying to find out, the obviously not the same intended message….
How many times do we listen to ourselves and how many times do we really listen to what others are saying? Listening with the intent to understand or just reply?

I enjoyed the two days I took to view what were installed for this WONDER… I thank my friend for making these trips with me and thank all the artists for their hard work even though some audiences might have left clueless.

My dear friends I took some photos and videos, maybe you can try to interpret it your own way and if keen, you can properly ask around for a copy of the Exhibit’s guide book and get the intentions clearer. Have fun. Sorry if my English is not well written, am still trying to improve..meanwhile...

Wow~ It has been so long since i last blog... had been crazy busy the past month.. Finally get to rest on this long weekend i have been long awaiting for.

Last weekend i had the chance to wake up at OMG 5:15 in the morning just to travel to jb for my first 18hole....Supposed to go Orchard C C but we ended up checking out different courses instead because our dear friend actually enrolled us for a golf competition. How Come?.....well...( Imagine me first timer, that’s nuts! We pretended not to recon our names anyway! Roslan my name is spelled as jodie not jordy and my surname is Soh not Tan~Gosh!~faint*) because it is actually cheaper for rates in competitions. or so i was told.

SO we ended up driving up and down checking out the prices in two other courses ( golf course tour we said) before deciding on IMPIAN EMAS, if i did not remember the name wrongly.

SO i was all excited and ready to play and was thinking to myself, how tiring can the 18hole be??hmmmmm.....

Well for the first time, when i reach the 9th hole i told my friend, " i think i cannot breathe!" hahhahaha i thought i might just have got heat stroke! ( we started at late morning) but after resting for food and drinks, i figured i just had to drink more water. The LIMS were so crazy man, super cun chiong they didn't even bother to rest, gosh!

I started to enjoy the game more at the second round as I realized it was actually not so tiring to just drive the buggy next to the ball to hit rather than park at the side and carry the clubs to hit and walk back to drive. Although got chased by the Marshal many times.(Some areas which we were not supposed to drive in) But that portion was actually quite fun..hahahah

Well it’s been fun! Hope the next time, more of OTTOTIANS will join in the fun! See you People Soon!

As i am typing this, we are actually waiting for two other colleagues to come back for dinner, today is my last day with all of you, my great team of friends~ that have given me so much support and guidance throughout my journey with ALL of YOU.
If it is not my blessing then i really don't know what it could be...
Learnt so much from all of you and time shared was truly great.
Moving on to another path, with the memories of this team will definitely bring me some warmth when i go somewhere else if i unfortunately get knives sticking into my back at work~ haha
No amount of words can express my joy and gratitude towards every single one of you, Stanley, Ck, Turtle, Chris, Edward and Jimmy.

I know i will never find another team like this. Please try to keep it this way as long as you can, its not easy to have such great characters all at the same place and at the same time.....

Domo (どーもくん, Dōmo-kun^?) is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several 30 second stop-motion sketches shown as station identification during shows.

In 2006 Nickelodeon announced that it is developing 26 2-minute shorts of Domo for broadcast in the United States.^[1]^[2] In December 2007 ICv2 announced that Nickelodeon would begin airing the shorts in early 2008.^[3]

The name "Domo" was acquired during the second episode of his show in which a TV announcer said, "doumo, konnichiwa" (どうも、こんにちは, "doumo, konnichiwa"^?), which is a formal greeting meaning something along the lines of, "Well, hello there!", but which can also be interpreted as "Hello, Domo!", and thus is a convenient dajare. The kun suffix on "Domo-kun," the name used to describe the character in the Japanese versions, is a Japanese honorific often used with young males.

Background

Domo, the main character, is described as "a strange creature that hatched from an egg." ^[4] Domo's favorite food is Japanese-style meat and potato stew, and he has a strong dislike for apples, due to an unexplained mystery in his DNA. Bear Boy (Kogumagorō (こぐまゴロー, Kogumagorō^?)), also known as A Little Bear (くまのこ, Kuma no ko^?, literally "A bear cub"), is one of Domo's friends from the neighborhood; the timid cub enjoys playing baseball.^[5]^[4]

Hee (Flower One (花一, Hanaichi^?)) and Haw (Flower Two (花二, Hanaji^?)) are pixie twins from a flower. Domo is the only individual who can see them. ^[5]

The Fox Trio consists of Esther (Esuko (エスコ, Esuko^?)), Brother Fox (あにきち, Aniki-chi^?), and Fox Boy (Konjirō (コンジロー, Konjirō^?)). Esther, the youngest member, enjoys producing crocodile tears, plotting schemes, and causing havoc. Brother Fox, the eldest member, dutifully cares for his youngest siblings and feels upset when referred to as "short-legged" (短足, tansoku^?). The Hazelnut chocolate cake and passion fruit cheesecake recommended were not bad but the environment at marina keppel overall experience personally i felt was overrated. Somehow a sense of character is missing from the place...But the Services were really good though.

Night Festival's WuHoo!

Well Done Singapore! for all the fantastic performances at this Night Festival 2008.
Indeed we are moving more into art scene. There were a few performances so i decided on the Percussion Music , The national Museum Electric Canvas and night Bazaar. It wasn't woo~ or waaaaa~ compare to last week's Dancing Sky but it was WU HOooo!

Uplifting! Energized! haPpiness~ was how i felt from the Percussion set last night. Performance was a little different, there was jazz infused in. Fusion! Good Mix! I truly enjoyed the percussion set by Bloco Singapura!

There is something about percussion music that channels the energy from the beats over to the audience. Its extremely uplifting ! At least to me~ I remember when i was still in art school, after class i used to stand outside the big field where the music faculty was, to catch the percussion group practice sometimes and its like a drug, a happiness drug! You will get addicted.

National Museum was displaying creative canvas light installation on it. we had lots of fun appreciating it and also the shadow play that we indulged in. Aini had fun too playing some old school games at the night Bazaar that showcase games of the yesteryear's.
The five stones, card games, wheel with stick etc.. I must say i am fortunate to have experience the five stones days and my personal favorite has to be "yay yay" made from colorful rubber bands strung together. The kind of fun parents deprive their kids these days. Drowning them in PSP. Looking forward to more of these events to indulge in SOon... i hope...

Its just one month to our 2007 Graduation anniversary ( How time Files ) and finally i get my hands on the pictures. Its true when they say " The Best Times are School Days " I have my fair share of stress and fun with school i guess. All the late nights rushing projects production, tight deadlines and Mass critics. Actually missing it quite bit. Getting back to school and completing it have always been something i am proud of. I hope i will be able to do a degree soon when both my work and financial allows...

As how my friend put it..we were IN AWE..

Everyone was going Whuoooo....aAAAahhhhhh....WuHooo and then aaaaahhhh repeatedly throughout the dance.
Even now as i type, i can still feel the high effect from the event last night.For all of you that missed it, Too BAD!!! hahaha

The Dancing Sky was by Studio Festi( Italy). It was a huge event done outdoor right in front of National Museum Stamford Green.
The sky was their stage, it was a spectacular event of movement and coordination.
I salute the staff holding and pulling the ropes that was attached to the acrobats dancing in mid air. They were graceful and the props was breathtaking.
Dancing in the air with two huge floating spheres, a flying piano and a huge flying vessel!!wouuooooo~ Speechless....
Surreal.......... It is definitely THE Event that took my breath away this 2008!

A simple Thank You

Life’s’ unpredictability….A lot of moments we missed "having the chance to really get to know a person, say good bye, say sorry , say I forgive you or remember to say thank you…
Fortunately memories serve me well, allowing me to type this down on my journey home to keep it as a reminder for me …
Looking back, I have been working with a bunch of weirdoes like myself for half a year and more now.
How could time not fly past quickly with such a great bunch of people?
Generous guidance, constant showering of help, patience answering to my many question marks, gentle pointers to my faults, all this keeps me company throughout most days.

The bro-ship, sis-ship, gay-ship, fatherly-ship that we all share are crazy.
Occasion outbursts of thinking out loud have been stressful but for the laughter, mentoring and assurance, it is the most heartwarming companionship at work for a newbie like me…
I will not want to wake up one day and realize I forgot to say thank you, if someday we were to move on to different paths. I am so proud to be part of this team.

Once in a while, sometimes among ourselves we have pointless little arguments that actually made me laugh when recollected. Ass~
After so many months of getting to know every single one of them, I must say I salute the integrity, optimism, strong values that they all hold towards work, turtles, gfs, wives and families. It has been a really healthy environment for me.
It is my blessing knowing that I know friends with such strong responsibilities towards their values.
All that to me is their fortune that no filthy rich billionaire could possibly match up to.

Had wanted to post this 2weeks back but alot had happen the whole of last week so only now then managed to post it up...Still collecting my thoughts..

The discovery of Wessex Estate continues….

What more can we ask for on a Sunday afternoon, when we can be flipping our favorite book, catching up with close friend while doing nothing much and indulging in rich freshly baked chocolate cakes (especially that thick Chocolate cake in my pictures) with a nicely brew coffee…

Yes I went back to Wesexx Estate in search for a café named Laurent Café & Chocolate Bar at 5b Portsdown Road that I read about. It was a fantastic discovery; I really love the environment there as currently it is not exactly discovered yet by fans of Dempsey.
I secretly hope that it will not get too noticed as that would take away the peaceful tranquil of the chocolate Café Bar.

The chocolate are freshly baked in their kitchen where you might be able to catch them in action while sitting outside the café sipping coffee and having that heavenly thick soft chocolate cake melting in your mouth….Yummy… (Missing it oreadi)
Away from the city, surrounded by smell of the jungle, this place brings us back a little sanity and serenity before we throw ourselves back into civilization...(Provided it doesn’t get too crowded too soon)

Little Mind Games

Yesterday a friend threw a remark saying " Aiyo u forgot about it? " And it leads to this.....

I started to wonder how sometimes matters just slipped my mind.

With this, my thoughts were slowly wandering elsewhere , I was just thinking what I was thinking and unknowingly started having this tracking system in my thoughts everytime something pops into my bubble.

I realized it can never really stop thinking, even after a slight pause, the mind will start generating thoughts again. Power of the mind! Dangerous living system ..

The best part comes when I have this realization that other than thoughts of the past, most of the time at least 70 % of the thoughts are not about anything that has happen at all! In fact most of it are actually imaginary scenarios, different types of reactions or hopes..
Some thoughts are messy and it get overrun by another unrelated thought within seconds and some are just on repeat mode... Now I understand why so many people are into yoga as it really clears your mind.

It can be quite a self discovery, maybe by doing this we can understand how certain things are appearing to us in a more truthful way... y not try it .. use a day to try tracking your thoughts to see if you actually still remember you are tracking your thoughts while thinking of something..

So next time you can go " Hey that thought is interesting! "

Ever tried Pickle Eggs?

Nope I have not and did not dare try it.... Saw this glass jar of eggs soaking in light yellow green color, it sent a signal to my brain and gave me a sourish taste in my mouth just by looking at it.

You know how powerful that is!

It reminded me of those jars with preserved lizards kept in medicine halls.. you must be wondering whats up with me and pickle eggs ya so here it goes......

After a meeting, Uncle Yeo suddenly remember he has not eaten for the whole day, yes he have been very busy so we decided to stop for a bite nearby.

We were near PortsDown Rd and he ask me if I have been to ColBAr ..and go on to explain to me its History that was also written at the joint on the wood planks that was use to built it before it shifted here.

When I step down on Wessex Estate (this was going through my head) ~ OMG! This place have been here for the longest time and you have never even heard of it!!

But its never too late...

I am happy once again to trip onto a joint, authentic as it is even after shifting grounds. The food was nothing to scream for but the environment really makes up for it.

If you want to know more about its history just Google the ColBar and you will see a lot of write ups and people blogging about it.

There are other eateries here too, somehow I know I am falling in love with this area already..there is this Italian looking restaurant opposite ColBAr which look rather cozy too. I am so sure I would want to come check out this area again, so many yet to discover.

I will say Wessex Estate is a little like Dempsey but not as crowded which is why it gives this place even more character..

logic? Bullshit? or truth?

Sometimes we should try to become more independent from other people's beliefs and start putting more value on our own inner voice that speaks from our own emotions...

The thing that we lose out to animals is that they do not have a brain that constantly use logic to compete which often lie and denied backstabbing our emotions with the nature of the hearts felt... so are we smart or are we stupid?!

So does that mean studying too much and having been enlighten hold us back from being more human? Integrity, is it taught , learn or born with it?

Wow! Pardon me but i have my 3 secs of sudden enlightenment!.. Maybe its after u learn logic , taught , go through it than u realize that it could be we just want to believe that logic is the right way because we are uncertain about the things or situation. We might realize after time that perhaps life is not all about logic after all.
Yes logic does play a part... its just an aid but not a definite path to happiness......but then again it might, i dont know... Am i being logical to think like that, maybe thoughts might just change tlmr.

........Welcome to my version of logic! i do prefer the above commonly suppress logic which i actually felt to be logical and have hope to believe .. whatever.. u decided..

Well thoughts to me are like intangible living parasites breathing air to stay alive through our expenses isn't it?!!!!
So maybe i will just change my thoughts about life within a minute of exchange conversation with some other people's parasite ya!

The Henderson Waves

I spend my Relaxing Vesak holiday doing the Henderson waves! ~My Friends and i started the long walk from Alexander rd where the bridge begins, instead of expecting just greeneries and peaceful quiet fresh surroundings, we were greeted by tons of people ... can hardly imagine the crowd that went for the same walk as us!!

Amazing!! Singaporeans are really suckers for new things, i think most of them are not there to experience the nature but rather just want to be able to tell others that they have been there first thats all... i have not experience this kind of crowd at Hilltop and other nature reserve areas in Singapore.

Anyways, we walk pass a few exits and entrances of the bridge, some leading to the other areas of the hill.

We were on a mission to the Henderson Waves! Its quite a sight u will get when you are walking on the really long metallic bridge. There was not much animals eg. Monkeys , squirrels that you will see here, that you will properly see at the Mac Ritchie tracks, but still its quite an experience u can have.

I enjoyed receiving the beauty of some beautifully shaped plants and trees along the way, like the ones i have uploaded here.

The bridges was built very near to the houses there, have this feeling as i walked on that i was viewing some show flats there , guess the owners there will not experience the kind of peaceful hideaway they use to have anymore. Or at least not until the henderson waves crazed is over!

When we finally step on the WAVE itself, some uncle walked pass us and spoke aloud to his family “ what is this about?!, Waste of Steel! Waste of Manpower! Waste of Money!” Hahahah and a little girl asked her mom , “what is this bridge for?”....

Funny expressions from different people who happen to come to this very place for a walk... hmmmm.......

Oh well..

Some how The bridge looks so much better from the seat on a bus which i was traveling in when it traveled pass below it, guess it was the imagination and expectation of the design that makes the experience different when i am actually stepping foot on it.

But for the fresh air and peaceful get away from town, i will do the walk again... Now i will walk all the way down from Mt Faber to Vivo! First time doing a walk down from Faber, i m going to give myself a certificate for the walk! THE COMPLETION OF HENDERSON WALK !

Silly GRin on the Greens

Today woke up really early to go Mandai for my PC test , it was amazing, the fresh air and greens really freshen my mind and loosen my tension. Yap , that good looking dude next to me is my golf mentor!
( Yes i mention i be putting this on blog, Celebrity Shot !) , somehow i feel the photo of me has this silly grin...
Someone kill a bird with the ball, someone fell into the drain retrieving the ball and someone roll down the slope into the water while finding his ball!!! .....okae .. all that didnt happen, was all just my little imagination going through my head while waiting for my turn....But that will be really funny to blog if it really did happen ya!

Took lessons from him with the rest of the gang, he is really encouraging throughout the course. I think everyone enjoyed today's game. I an happy with my swings today! Looking forward to more games in the future, cant wait to try the 18 holes!

The showdown of dessert arena.... the whole of last week was dessert cafe week, the search is on for another cafe that could possibly beat my current fav, THE CHEESECAKE CAFE for their yum yum peanut butter cheesecake and Hot hazelnut milk ( need a weekly dosage) but nothing could steal my attention and love from it as yet ....

But did discover two other cafe which serve quite good ambiance and desserts. One is the Book Cafe along Mohammad's sultan straight down ,which i find the concept not too bad but dessert could have been better ...

The other is a small cafe just opposite the bugis.Its call “ Food for Thought “ They have really good milkshake! The staff were very friendly too. Go check it out! Menu is not bad too.

Last night i was at their concert at fort canning. Other than having half cup full of beer poured on my leg and head got knocked twice by a group of excited crazed fanics behind me and groups of teenagers vying for photographers attention,human surfers thrown to stage and inhaling secondhand toxic from a guy in front of me that never seem to stop smoking and with my occasion cursing camouflaged by the loud screams.

.... well.... ... i will say the rest of the night have been quite enjoyable. Music was better than my expectations,( as i only know three songs from them ) drummer did really well and atmosphere was great. All in all it was Fun!

Last night as my boss is sending us home after golf, the topic of marriage came up, my boss shared with us how he think marriage should be and everyone chip in their point of views, as i reached home this thought came into my mind and i guess this is how i view it, the union of two people coming together.

Everything always starts beautiful isn't it?
But it is only through the process that you see what you seek and if you feel that you might have found someOne and will want to walk the same path together, you must realize that No One is always on track as another in this entire world.

It takes to give up a little, understand a little, appreciate a little to be able to walk the same path in time where temptations, new excitements, sudden interests will shake your integrity. No One is made tailor for another, it is how strong the love is to make it happen .
..is yours strong enough...?...

Wisdom.... It is said that when you go through more things in life than others you gain the knowledge of things.

Constantly there will always be someone and also ourselves that will try to give our 25cent worth of advice, with good hope that it will be of help to others.
But how real and true those advice and how workable it will be of help will depend mainly on the medium that is in question...

Many times we hear advice and words of wisdom from friends , family and even sales people that we buy things from but have you wonder how confident are they in their words or are their words just borrowed wisdom from another wisdom borrower? ...Ponder for few seconds please...

Even if they ( the adviser) have gone through more than half your lifetime maybe it would have been a different wisdom from your ( the involve ) point of view after you have been there. Although not denying the fact that advises and words of wisdom from our elderly could sometimes get us into lesser pain and trouble.

But sometimes when people ask for opinions and advices, due to individual belief , different upbringing, different circles of friends and growth experience , what they hear may not be what the adviser really feel , it might be just what they think is the right way to look at the subject or how they will prefer you to feel and react to situation but if it was to be their own experience, maybe it would have been a totally different opinion.

A lot of times we humans do things thinking how and what is the right way and method to be and react just for the sake of other people's approval. Now that really sucks doesn't it..

Advices and wisdom is built to assist us on how we want to reflect on our life when we are old and moldy i guess. How about we just imagine how we will like to be feeling about life in many different aspects when we reach the age that we got to kick the bucket . Maybe that will help.

I remember i read in some book that goes something like this:
Imagine the person you are at 70 is not you but another person leading your life and you are the one that defines what will happen in his/her near future, you definitely do not wish to be hated by him/her right?
SO live life the way you think this person will thank you when his time comes. Its not your life, it's borrowed from someone in another dimension.

As for me , guess i have to work on my sometimes overwhelming ego ( thats my ego speaking, it's most of the time ) and stubbornness during my time now and hopefully that gal in her dimension doesn't hate me that much when she hears of my contributions to her life.

Than again come to think about it , wisdom , does it come from the brain or the heart ? Many times i feel that our body is just a container with two different tenants ( Our cunningly deceiving brain and the other hopelessly denying heart ) that have such great differences in character and constantly in contradiction don't you?
.... Hmmm maybe this will set me thinking and blog you all on my thoughts soon. Till then .... Enjoy your NOW.

A Penny for my Thoughts

Most people have no trouble anticipating the advantages that freedom may provide, but may seem blind to the joys it can undermine. What do you think about this ? Are you someone who embrace your freedom or a person who enjoys the idea of being responsible to another.
Which side does your coin fall on or are you someone who have no idea what makes you feel most happy being? Penny for a thought....i guess its a journey of self discovery but there are so many side of us, which is the one that you are most comfortable and happy being?

People always talk about finding balance, but how often are they being true to themselves that
they are happy....even though maybe being extreme is the zone where it truly makes them happy but not balance to others.
If time passes do you think the one year later person ( you ), will be thankful to the now person ( you ) or dislike the person reading now?

Just some thoughts that pop into my head while waiting for my colleagues to go golfing.

My New Golf Shoe

MY faithful pair of golf shoe found me..... Was at the Harbourfront sale for Golfers Network last month and saw the same pair which was on sale!Price was discounted BUT NO SIZE FOR ME!!! Faint!
Last Night was at Bishan Range practicing AND THEN! Saw Addias golf SALE at a shop there ... went in ..... GUESS what! i saw the same design same color and its only 60 bucks!!!! A STEAL!!!

Went home Happy but my swings sucked last night , must be overwhelmed by the new golf shoe ( excuses )..........
